Clemson goes on an offer spree in the class of 2025 to open June
Before Thursday, Clemson had not offered a single player in the class of 2025. That changed as 2025 prospects around the nation changed from sophomores to juniors.
Clemson has been well known to wait and build relationships with prospects before extending verbal offers. Many of the prospects that added offers today and will add offers in the coming days have been on campus as well.
Multiple elite young prospects admire Clemson’s selective approach to the recruiting process. An offer comes with genuineness.
“I like how they manage their program,” Top 60 DL London Merritt said back on May 17. “I know they don’t just give out offers to underclassmen. You have to earn an offer. If I earn an offer, that means they’re really interested in me and want me to come play for them.”
The sense of community continues to be a selling point for the Tigers.
“I learned that they love to build relationships,” Merritt said. “That’s one of my main goals on these visits, is getting to know the position coach and the coaching staff and build relationships. When I make my decision, I don’t want to feel alone, I want to feel like family to the community.”
Let’s meet the new targets.
Note: This story will update as new offers flow in over the next few days.
