Clemson guard Del Jones has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. He has done so after just one season with the Tigers.

Jones appeared in 32 games for the Tigers this season, though he did not record a start. He averaged 3.8 points and 1.5 rebounds per contest, while seeing 11.8 minutes per game.

Needless to say, Del Jones will be looking for a more expanded opportunity at his next stop. He’s got the skill set to be a major contributor for whichever school lands him.

Jones scored in double figures twice this season for the Tigers. The second time was a 13-point, five-rebound outing that was his best statistical performance of the season.

A good finisher near the basket, Jones shot 40.3% from the floor during his lone season at Clemson. He also shot 31.1% from 3-point range, taking 45 attempts on the season.

Del Jones was also a quality free-throw shooter, knocking down his attempts at a 76.5% clip. He went 13-of-17 from the charity stripe, getting to the line about once every other game.

Prior to enrolling at Clemson, Del Jones was ranked as a three-star recruit and the No. 144 overall player in the nation in the 2024 recruiting class. He also checked in as the No. 24 ranked player at his position and the No. 9 overall player in the state of Virginia, hailing from Arlington (VA) Compass Prep.

Anquan Boldin’s son enters transfer portal

Buffalo Bulls sophomore guard Anquan Boldin Jr. has entered the Transfer Portal, On3 has learned. He is the son of long-time NFL star wide receiver Anquan Boldin.

Coming out of high school, Boldin Jr. was an unranked recruit in the Class of 2023. He attended IMG Academy in Delray Beach, Florida. There, he averaged 11 points, four rebounds, two assists, and one block in 27 games. Eventually, he would sign with Buffalo out of high school.

In two seasons with the Bulls, Boldin Jr. has become an important player for Buffalo. In 53 career games played, he has 49 starts and averaged 27 minutes per game over his first two college seasons. This past season, he was one of just two Bulls players to start every game for the team. For his career, he’s averaging 7.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. He’s also shooting 46.4 percent from the field, 28 percent from three-point range, and 66.4 percent from the free-throw line. On the defensive end, he has 0.9 steals and 0.7 blocks per game.

On3’s Dan Morrison also contributed to this report.
