Clemson players and coaches felt like they had done enough to be included in the NCAA Tournament. Unfortunately for the Tigers, the selection committee didn’t agree.

Clemson was not one of the 68 teams to earn a spot in the tourney, it was announced on CBS Sunday evening.

The Tigers had impressive wins — including over Duke, Penn State, Pitt and NC State three times. However, bad losses ultimately kept Clemson out.

Clemson went 23-10 (14-6) this season and earned the No. 3 seed in the ACC Tournament. The Tigers are the first top three seed in the ACC tourney to miss the NCAA Tournament since Virginia in 2000.
