Clemson sophomore DB Andrew Mukuba on Jim Thorpe Award watch list

Clemson sophomore safety Andrew Mukuba has the eyes of the nation heading into 2022. Mukuba was included on the Jim Thorpe Award watch list ahead of his sophomore season.

Mukuba figures to play a huge role in the Tigers’ secondary in 2022. Clemson watched cornerback Andrew Booth head off to the NFL Draft in April after his junior season. Mario Goodrich also made the move to the next level as a senior.

Mukuba was Clemson’s fourth-leading tackler in 2021 as a freshman. He had 47 total tackles last season. Mukuba came to Clemson as a four-star prospect out of Austin, Texas.
