Clemson lands commitment from elite guard in class of 2022
CLEMSON — Less than 24 hours after losing a commitment from transfer guard Jaelin Llewellyn, Clemson has landed a commitment from an elite guard in the class of 2022 in Dillon Hunter.
The Atlanta native committed to Clemson Wednesday morning, becoming the highest-ranked commit for Clemson in this year’s recruiting class. Hunter is ranked as a three-star recruit and the No. 127 overall player in the country, according to the On3 Consensus rankings.
The 6-foot-3 prospect originally signed with Baylor in November, before being granted his release from the Bears earlier this week.
Hunter spent this past season at Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas but is originally from Atlanta. He is the brother of current Clemson guard Chase Hunter.
