Injury update on Clemson forward PJ Hall
CHARLOTTE — Clemson coach Brad Brownell provided an injury update on star forward PJ Hall Wednesday afternoon at the ACC Tipoff Event.
Brownell said that Hall is “ahead of schedule” and he is “optimistic” that Hall will be back early in the season.
Hall battled a foot injury throughout last season. He then suffered a knee injury this summer, which required surgery.

“He’s doing great, but it’s challenging,” Brownell said. “It’s a tough couple of injuries. I’m really proud of him with the way he’s attacked his rehab. He’s doing well. He’s ahead of schedule. We’re optimistic that he’ll play sometime in November. We don’t know when.”
Hall is one of the best players in the ACC when healthy. The junior averaged 15.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game last season.
He also led the Tigers in blocks with 38 — 30 more than anyone else on the team.
