Dabo Swinney provides update on Justyn Ross after WR left game vs. BC
Clemson had several players leave Saturday’s game against Boston College early. One of those was star wideout Justyn Ross.
The redshirt junior went to the sideline in the second quarter and was looked at by Clemson’s training staff.
He left the sideline moments later and headed for Clemson’s locker room. Ross eventually emerged from the locker room early in the second half but he was in sweats.
Tigers coach Dabo Swinney provided an update on Ross after the game. Swinney was asked if Ross had an issue with his neck, which is what kept him out all of last year.

“Not that I know of. They just said he got hit in the head. That’s it,” Swinney said.
The Alabama native caught one pass for 15 yards before leaving the game. He now has 23 catches for 231 yards on the year.
Clemson had several other players banged up Saturday, including receiver/quarterback Will Taylor. Swinney didn’t have an update on Taylor other than to say “they think it’s his knee.”
