Four-star edge Tomarrion Parker officially signs with Clemson
Tomarrion Parker made things official with Clemson on Wednesday, signing with the Tigers Wednesday morning.
The four-star Edge signed with Clemson exactly one month after committing to the Tigers.
Parker chose Clemson on Nov. 21 over offers from Florida, Penn State, Georgia and others.
“Clemson has always been a school I wanted to go to,” Parker previously told On3. “Growing up, my dad was a huge Clemson fan and I watched them play since I was young. The relationship me and my family have with the staff is raw beyond the game of football. It felt right for me and I honestly can’t see myself anywhere else.”
Parker is ranked as the No. 14 Edge and No. 82 overall player in the country, according to the On3 Consensus rankings.
He pointed to his relationships with assistant director of recruiting James Haynes, defensive ends coach Lemanski Hall, defensive tackles coach Nick Eason and cornerbacks coach Mike Reed as his reasons for picking Clemson.
“I love the staff. I’m really close with James, coach Hall, coach Reid and coach Eason. Coach Hall plans on using me as a defensive end like how I play in high school,” Parker said. “We run the same defensive scheme they do, and my DE coach has learned a lot from coach Hall as well to coach the thing we know for our team.”
Parker attends Central High in Phenix City, Ala., which is the home of former Clemson receivers Justyn Ross and EJ Williams. Current Tigers walk-on Caleb Nix is also from Phenix City.
Tomarrion Parker was previously committed to Penn State, before decommitting over the summer and eventually choosing Clemson.

On3 Scouting report on Edge Tomarrion Parker
Productive player as a junior for state champion runner-ups in Alabama’s highest classification. The definition of an active player.
Totaled 23 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks as a junior. Consistently chases backside and is constantly in pursuit of the football.
Polished pass rusher as well that has extremely active hands and understands how to use leverage to his advantage. Registers as a good, but not elite athlete in the combine setting and looks to lack high-end length at the position.
One of the highest floors in the class due to being so technically sound and refined as both a run defender and pass rusher.
