It has been a busy offseason with Clemson players entering the transfer portal in search of more playing time, but that is nothing new for the Tigers.

Clemson lost several players to the transfer portal off of its 2021 team as well.

Receiver Ajou Ajou, running back Michael Dukes and quarterback Taisun Phommachanh were among the players who signed with Clemson, before transferring in 2021.

We take a look at how the players who were on the 2021 Clemson team performed at their new schools after entering the transfer portal:

RB Lyn-J Dixon: Did not appeared in a game this past season and is currently not on a roster after entering the transfer portal in September of 2021. Dixon spent time at West Virginia and Tennessee last offseason but did not stay at either place.

Joseph Charleston, Missouri: Charleston had an excellent season, finishing fourth on the team in tackles with 53. He was tied for third on the team with 39 solo stops. The Georgia native had 3.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 2 pass breakups and an interception, which he returned for a touchdown.

RB Michel Dukes, USF: Dukes finished third on the team in rushing with 188 rushing yards and was second in rushing touchdowns with five. He averaged 3.5 yards per carry. The South Carolina native appeared in 11 of USF’s 12 games. He added 8 receptions for 72 yards and was 3-for-3 passing for 14 yards.

OL Paul Tchio, Georgia Tech: Tchio started one game at Clemson in 2021, before entering the transfer portal in the middle of that season. He was a backup guard for the Yellow Jackets this past season.
