The Clemson Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney recently updated Clemson’s injury situation in fall camp. Clemson is looking to get off to a solid start to the 2022 college football season, and in order to do so, it’ll be all hands on deck from week 1.

Like all teams around the country, the Tigers are dealing with a few injuries, but how long is their list? According to Swinney, the list is small and includes two wide receivers, Adam Randall and Troy Stellato.

“(Troy) Stellato. He’s hopefully full speed by Monday,” said Swinney. “He’s kind of battled a hamstring (injury) since he got here. But I don’t think it’s bad. He tweaked it a little bit, but he’s probably limited today and tomorrow. Hopefully, we get him going full go Monday. And I think that’s it, from the scholarship guys, that will be limited. Everybody else will be ready to role.”

Unfortunately for Clemson, it is unlikely that Randall will be back anytime this season after he tore his ACL during spring practices. Stellato is dealing with a hamstring issue from earlier in the offseason, and the Tigers’ medical staff is taking precautions. Clemson will need all of its available playmakers to help star quarterback DJ Uiagalelei lead the Tigers back to the College Football Playoff.

Clemson receiver Joseph Ngata climbs the ladder for spectacular catch

The Clemson Tigers football program is hard at work preparing for the 2022 season in hopes of reclaiming their title as kings of the ACC. During practice on Friday, Tigers wide receiver Joseph Ngata climbs the ladder to make a play in one-on-ones worthy of all tens.

Ngata, a six-foot-three wide receiver out of Folsom, CA, made a terrific high-point catch over six-foot-two freshman cornerback Jeadyn Lukus. Coincidentally enough, both players are sporting the number 10 in the video and for the upcoming season. You can check out the senior’s spectacular catch in the video below, courtesy of Clemson’s page.

Ngata has not been a fixture in the Tigers’ offense in his first three years on campus. He has played a total of 31 games, starting in 11 of them during that time. Ngata has a total of 47 receptions for 761 yards and four touchdowns. However, with the senior making plays like this, we could see him featured more in the Clemson offense in 2022.
