Clemson Recruiting: 2025 commit breakdown
After finishing No. 14 in the 2024 recruiting class, Dabo Swinney and his staff at Clemson are off to a hot start in the 2025 cycle.
The Tigers have built a 13-man class through mid-July and currently sit No. 7 in the 2025 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
Clemson Class Breakdown
Clemson’s 13-man class includes nine four-star recruits. Durham (N.C.) Southern four-star defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell headlines the group as a top-40 prospect. Norfolk (Va.) Maury four-star EDGE Ari Watford is right there with him at No. 43.
Also rankings inside the On3 Industry Ranking top 100 are Lake City (S.C.) South Florence four-star defensive lineman Amare Adams, Cedartown (Ga.) four-star safety Tae Harris and Lynchburg (Va.) Liberty Christian four-star running back Gideon Davidson.
Davidson joined the class in June alongside Tampa Wiregrass Ranch four-star cornerback Graceson Littleton and Lawrence (Mass.) Central Catholic four-star quarterback Blake Hebert.
Top Tigers Offensive Commit: RB Gideon Davidson
A top-100 prospect, Davidson ranks as the nation’s No. 72 overall prospect and No. 3 running back in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 recruit in Virginia.

Davidson committed to Clemson back in June.
“I love the culture at Clemson,” he told On3 at the time. “Genuine family feeling. A sense that they care about me beyond my football ability. Emphasize academics. I really think I’m going to like the PAW program.”
Top Defensive Commit: DL Isaiah Campbell
The nation’s No. 4 defensive lineman, Isaiah Campbell ranks No. 39 overall in the On3 Industry Ranking and No. 2 in the state of North Carolina.
Campbell was one of the earliest prospects to commit to Clemson’s 2025 class, doing so back in January.
“Clemson was the best place for me,” Campbell told On3. “I had a good feeling for my top five schools, but I felt it with Clemson. I chose Clemson because of the culture, how I relate to the people there and how they can develop me as a defensive lineman. Clemson also has a great foundation to develop great men.”
