Former Clemson receiver Brannon Spector will transfer to Jacksonville State, he announced Wednesday via Twitter. Spector spent the past five seasons with the Tigers and will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Spector appeared in 38 games across his career at Clemson, mostly in a reserve role. He recorded 38 catches for 372 yards and a pair of touchdowns in that span. He was a true freshman when Clemson advanced to the national championship game in 2019 but lost to LSU.

As a recruit, Spector was a three-star prospect out of Calhoun (GA) High School. He ranked as the No. 498 overall player and No. 73 receiver in the 2019 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Brannon Spector will now transfer to a Jacksonville State squad that is coming off of a 9-4 record this season. The Gamecocks also won the New Orleans Bowl against Louisiana and will aim to build upon this year.
