Clemson will travel to Wake Forest on Saturday, Sept. 24 for what will be its biggest test of the 2022 season so far.

The kickoff time and TV details for that matchup were released Monday afternoon.

The two ACC Atlantic teams will play at Noon, the ACC announced. The game will be televised by ABC.

Clemson and Wake Forest are the two most recent teams to win the ACC Atlantic.

The Demon Deacons won the division last year after Clemson had won the previous six ACC Atlantic titles.

Both teams are undefeated and ranked in the top 20 through the first two weeks of the 2022 season.

Clemson is currently No. 5 in the AP Poll after beating Georgia Tech and Furman to open the season.

The Tigers host Louisiana Tech on Saturday in a nonconference game. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. for this Saturday’s matchup.

Wake Forest is 2-0 with wins against VMI and Vanderbilt.

Star quarterback Sam Hartman missed the opener for Wake but returned Saturday at Vanderbilt and was 18-for-27 passing for 300 yards and four touchdowns.

The Demon Deacons host Liberty this weekend, before Clemson comes to town.

Even though Wake Forest won the ACC Atlantic last year, they once again struggled against Clemson.

The Tigers have won 13 consecutive games in the series, including a 48-27 home win last year.

The biggest edge for Clemson has been on the line of scrimmage. Wake Forest runs a slow mesh offense, but the Tigers have been able to blow up plays by getting pressure in the back field.

That will be key for Clemson to once again knock off the Demon Deacons in less than two weeks.
