WATCH: Clemson wide receiver Dacari Collins makes one handed catch in practice
Spring football is in full swing at plenty of college football programs across the country. It’s a time for young prospects to develop and showcase their skills. On Saturday, Clemson wide receiver Dacari Collins wanted to show that he’s got what it takes to be one of the next great Tiger receivers.
Check out this beautiful one-handed catch he made today.
Collins was a former four-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting class, according to the On3 Consensus Rankings. Last season, he had three starts, hauling in 16 catches for 221 receiving yards in 254 snaps for the Tigers. Clemson fans are hoping he can make more catches like that one during the 2022 regular season.

The quarterback battle is going to have a lot of eyes on it this spring at Clemson, as the team just welcomed in one of the most highly touted quarterbacks in America, Cade Klubnik. According to the On3 Consensus Rankings, he was rated as the No. 3 quarterback prospect in the country for the 2022 cycle. Among other accolades, Klubnik was also named MVP of the 2021 Elite 11 quarterback competition and was selected to play in the 2022 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He’ll battle for the starting job with incumbent starter, D.J. Uiagalelei.
Dacari Collins was a highly touted prospect
Collins was rated as the No. 35 wide receiver in America for the 2021 recruiting class, according to the On3 Consensus Rankings. He played his high school football at Westlake High School (Atlanta, Georgia) and suited up in the Under Armour All-American Game. After making one-handed grabs like he did today, Collins showed why he was such a highly coveted prospect. During his high school career, he hauled in 109 catches for 1,990 receiving yards and 20 touchdown catches in 37 career games.
