Coveted ATH Khalil Barnes makes things official with Clemson
Bogart (Ga.) North Oconee three-star athlete Khalil Barnes was the last pre-signing day commitment for Clemson.
Barnes is now officially a Clemson Tiger signee. He signed just at the start of the early signing period on Wednesday. Barnes committed to the Tigers back on Friday over Notre Dame and Oklahoma.

He expects to play in Clemson’s secondary in college. Barnes has spent a great deal of time on the offensive side of the football.
Clemson’s relationships won him over.
“It was kind of a no-brainer,” Barnes told On3 after his decision. “When I first got the offer, I liked it. I wanted to take things slow. The consistency was there with them, even when they hadn’t offered, the relationships and the talks with the coaches were the same as when they did offer. It wasn’t like they showed any fake love or anything like that. I feel like I can trust every person in that building. It was pretty easy.”
