Four-star wide receiver TJ Moore of Tampa (FL) Catholic High announced his commitment to Clemson Tuesday afternoon.

The 6-foot-3, 190 pounder chose the Tigers over Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.

Moore on why he chose Clemson

“Their whole program stood out to me,” Moore said. “From academics, to the P.A.W program, to football, everything just impressed me. I also have a very good relationship with the staff and I know they can help me later on in life. I also know that they can help me become a better man and a better player.”

Relationships played a big role in TJ Moore’s decision to commit to Clemson

“They’ve said I was their guy since day one,” Moore said. “They are great role models and great people so I really respect them and their intentions. I’d say Coach Grisham, Artavius Scott, and coach Swinney are the coaches that I am closest with. Their plan is to get me the ball no matter what because they see what I do with it. They want to move me around and not only be an outside WR, but also play slot.”

The Sunshine State wide receiver joins coach Dabo Swinney and the Tigers’ top 10 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by five-star linebacker Sammy Brown, four-star cornerback Tavoy Feagin, and others.

Moore ranks as the No. 127 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 22 wide receiver and the No. 18 player in the state of Florida.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $111K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
