On3 top-40 WR Bryant Wesco makes a splash with Clemson commitment
Elite On300 WR Bryant Wesco is done with his first two official visits and a decision is in.
Wesco, the No. 6-rated receiver in the On300 for 2024, is following some blue-chip footprints with a commitment to Clemson. The elite pass-catcher from the Dallas Metroplex is the Tigers’ third commitment in as many days following that of five-star LB Sammy Brown and fellow four-star WR TJ Moore.
Wesco recently returned to Death Valley for the Tigers’ star-studded official visit weekend to kick off June, where wide receivers coach Tyler Grisham and head coach Dabo Swinney set the tone for a memorable experience.
“The energy and the atmosphere at Clemson is crazy,” Wesco told On3. “It’s always fun being there and being around the other guys — that was awesome.”
Wesco was on campus at Clemson back in March when he collected an offer from the Tigers and Grisham.
Both Grisham and Swinney, who as the head coach works hands-on with the receivers, zeroed in on Wesco and his family, which caught the attention of the elite wide receiver.
“What stood out is how included Coach Swinney and Coach Grisham made me feel,” said Wesco, the No. 26 player in the country. “Even though there were a lot of recruits there, they still showed a lot of love and a lot of interest in me, as well as everyone else on the coaching staff.”

“Clemson has a great reputation and they always have success with their wide receivers,” Wesco told On3. “They always have great QBs, great facilities, a great culture and a great campus. The way they treated me when I was there, it was like I was family, and I loved how the players interacted with each other.”
After officially visiting USC last month and then making his way back to Clemson last weekend, Wesco’s official visit plans for June have come to an end. The Midlothian (Texas) High School standout is no longer expected to take official visits to TCU, LSU and Tennessee over the next three weekends as originally planned.
Wesco’s commitment bolsters Clemson’s 2024 recruiting class, which entered the day ranked No. 8 in the On3 Industry Team Rankings.
