Top-150 prospect Dillon Hunter commits to Clemson
Less than 48 hours after decommitting from Baylor, three-star shooting guard Dillon Hunter has committed to Clemson, he tells On3.
“There were many reasons I chose Clemson. Clemson was always one of the top schools on my list during my recruitment and was actually the first school to offer me back in 9th grade. Being able to play with my brother Chase played a huge part also, he’s been basically recruiting me for the past three years and showing me everything Clemson has to offer. Coach Brownell has talked to me a lot over the years and we have built a good relationship. Just being close to home and playing with my older brother is a opportunity I couldn’t pass up on,” Hunter said to On3.

The 6-foot-3 senior out of Wichita (Kan.) Sunrise Christian is ranked No. 127 overall prospect in the On3 2022 Consensus.
Hunter is now the fourth member of Clemson’s 2022 recruiting class, as he joins Chauncey Wiggins, RJ Godfrey, and Chauncey Gibson.
Dillon will join his brother, Chase Hunter, who’s currently on the Tigers’ roster.
Clemson was one of Hunter’s several scholarship offers before originally committing to Baylor.
