Top 2024 QB prospect Jadyn Davis set for Clemson visit
Jadyn Davis — the No. 1 player in the 2024 On3 Consensus — is set for another visit this upcoming weekend.
The 6-foot, 175-pound four-star quarterback from Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School announced on social media Tuesday he will be at Clemson this Saturday for a visit.
The visit is his third to Death Valley over the past year. He was last at Clemson on Nov. 11. He was previously on campus last summer.
Don’t forget that Davis is originally from South Carolina. He played his first two seasons at Catawba Ridge (S.C.) High School. He transferred to Providence Day School for the spring semester of his junior year.
Jadyn Davis has bond with Clemson
Clemson has been heavily involved in Jadyn Davis’ recruitment for quite some time. During the fall football season, he told On3’s Jeremy Johnson he’s built a great bond with Tigers’ quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei.
“Me and D.J. Uiagalelei are like family at this point,” Davis said. “Me and D.J. are pretty close. He tells me he loves Clemson and everything about it. With Trevor (Lawrence) being from Georgia, and he had success, Deshaun Watson and Tajh Boyd… Clemson pretty much speaks for itself.”
On3 RPM says Ohio State leads
With that being said, the Tigers currently have a lot of ground to make up in Jadyn Davis’ recruitment.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Ohio State Buckeyes are the strong leader. The Buckeyes have a 78.1% chance of landing Davis, per the On3 RPM. Georgia listed second at 5.9%, followed by South Carolina and North Carolina at 3.6%. Penn State, Tennessee and Alabama are listed at 1.8%. While Clemson is listed as having a 1.7% chance.
Furthermore, it should be noted that what happens with 2023 quarterback recruiting could go a long way toward what schools push even harder for Davis. The same is true with other signal-callers in the sophomore class. For example, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Clemson are all heavily linked with top junior quarterbacks like Arch Manning, Nico Iamaleava and Christopher Vizzina. However, Davis does currently have offers from all of the teams mentioned on his list along with a long list of other top teams.
Jadyn Davis is ranked as the No. 1 player and top quarterback in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Jadyn Davis currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $71,000. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time. Davis ranks No. 20 in the High School Football NIL Rankings.
