Trevor Lawrence celebrates weekend wedding with long-time girlfriend

Former Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence is officially a married man.
He and his high school sweetheart, Marissa Mowry, tied the knot on Saturday in Bluffton, S.C. Mowry and Lawrence are both graduates of Cartersville High in Georgia and were engaged in July on the grass of Memorial Stadium.
Mowry shared some photos of the wedding on Instagram. A handful of Clemson players attended the event, including coach Dabo Swinney.

Lawrence and Mowry were at the first round of The Masters on Thursday. The two were photographed chatting with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Lawrence is expected to be picked with the first overall pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars later this month in the NFL Draft. Jags fans heard about Lawrence’s wedding registry and purchased him a few items, including a high-tech toaster. It’s fair to say that Jacksonville is ready to welcome its new quarterback.

In his time at Clemson, Lawrence won a national championship and made three-straight trips to the College Football Playoff. He’s the winningest starting quarterback in Clemson history.

The NFL hosted in-person medical exams and physicals in Indianapolis over the weekend, but Lawrence opted out for his wedding. Lawrence held a throwing session in front of the Jaguars in February before having labrum surgery on his non-throwing arm. NFL Network’s Ian Rapport has reported that Lawrence hasn’t had problems with his left arm since the surgery and recently resumed throwing in the last two weeks.
Ever since Clemson fell in the College Football Playoff semifinals to Ohio State in January, Lawrence has been at the top of mock draft boards. ESPN draft analysts Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay both have the quarterback going to Jacksonville.
