Michigan State transfer QB Noah Kim commits to Coastal Carolina
Michigan State quarterback Noah Kim has committed to Coastal Carolina, via the NCAA Transfer Portal.
As a redshirt junior, Kim made five starts for Michigan State this season. This was his fourth year in East Lansing where, in total, he made nine appearances. In that time, he completed 105 passes on a career completion rate of 58.7% for 1,264 yards, nine touchdowns, and six interceptions.
After their bye week and amidst a ton of changes in the program, Michigan State went in a different direction by benching Kim. From there, Katin Houser saw snaps as the new starter while Sam Leavitt saw action, as well.
Kim played high school football at Westfield (VA) where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1,053 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He finished as the No. 67 QB and a Top-25 player out of Virginia in the class.
