Nashville (Tenn.) Lipscomb Academy four-star offensive lineman Chauncey Gooden has committed to Colorado.

He chose the Buffaloes over Clemson, as well as more than 15 other reported offers. Gooden visited both the Tigers and the Buffaloes this month, but after his trip to Boulder over the weekend, he’s made the call for Deion Sanders and Co.

The 6-foot-3, 350-pounder is the No. 317 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 24 offensive lineman and the No. 9 recruit in the state of Tennessee.

His pledge marks the fourth commitment in the cycle for the Buffs, joining Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star cornerback Alex Graham, Buford (Ga.) three-star linebacker Mantrez Walker, and Bluff City (Tenn.) Sullivan East three-star tight end Corbin Laisure.
