4-star PF Sebastian Rancik commits to Colorado
San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) J Serra Catholic four-star power forward Sebastian Rancik is headed to Colorado to play for head coach Tad Boyle.
The 6-foot-9, 210-pound senior ultimately chose the Buffaloes over USC and Oklahoma. He also received offers from UCLA, Ole Miss, Nebraska, San Diego State, Mississippi State, Arizona State, TCU, and others.
“I chose Colorado because of the fit,” Rancik said to On3. “I think I fit really well into the system Coach Boyle and his staff are running. I really believe in the program Coach Boyle is building and I can’t wait to be a part of it. Since they’ve been recruiting me, I have built a really good relationship with the staff and I trust them. Also when I was on campus it felt like home.”
In his own words, what type of player is Colorado getting in Sebastian Rancik?
“I’m a player that can do anything on the floor, I can shoot, pass, dribble, defend. I’m a good teammate whose only goal is to win.”
