Calabasas (Calif.) four-star athlete Aaron Butler has committed Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes. Butler announced his commitment during one of Deion Sanders’ live videos on Instagram.

Butler picked the Buffaloes over Alabama, Georgia, Miami and Oregon.

The 5-foot-11.5, 165-pounder is the No. 122 overall prospect and No. 4 athlete in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 16 player in California.

Butler visited Colorado twice during the spring and was in attendance for the Buffaloes spring game on April 22.

“Coach Prime, he wants dawgs,” Butler told Hayes Fawcett on Feb. 22. “I’m a dawg. He’s one of the greatest players to ever play the game, as I will be. I don’t think I need to say any more on that.”

The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
