College football insiders believe Deion Sanders will 'dramatically upgrade' Colorado roster
For a program that went 1-11 this season, Colorado sure did make a splash with its hire of new head coach Deion Sanders. And at least one prominent college football analyst believes it won’t take Deon Sanders long to ‘dramatically upgrade’ Colorado’s roster.
Sanders, of course, has already made major waves in college football as a recruiter at Jackson State.
Now he’s at a Power 5 program.
“We’re going to see so many people go into the transfer portal this week,” FOX Sports reporter Bruce Feldman said. “It’s going to be a feeding frenzy. And I have no doubt for your alma mater that Deion is going to bring a bunch of talent, not just with him from Jackson State, but a bunch of other guys.”
Feldman discussed the impact of Sanders’ hire at Colorado on The Joel Klatt Show on Tuesday. Klatt is a former Colorado quarterback.
“They’re going to dramatically upgrade a roster that — I think they have so far to go because that was the worst roster in Power 5,” Feldman said, “But I look at it as I think he will make the kind of leap where at least Jedd Fisch did at Arizona, where (they’re) going from awful to dangerous within the first year.”

Dramatically upgrade Colorado’s roster? It’s needed
Feldman’s point that Sanders can dramatically upgrade Colorado’s roster isn’t lost on those inside the Colorado athletics facilities. Definitely not after one of Deion Sanders’ first speeches to the team.
In fact, Sanders pretty much openly warned current players that they need to be ready for some serious roster turnover.
Sanders has begun to send out offers to both recruits and NCAA transfer portal prospects. As the process works, offers have been announced via Twitter to let the public know. While Sanders is happy to see the wheels in motion, he wants more movement.

“I keep seeing ‘I’m blessed to receive a(n) offer from @CUBuffsFootball,’” Sanders said. “I’m cool with that but if u know what I know you need to start saying ‘I’m blessed to commit to @CUBuffsFootball‘ because They’re Coming Baby! Get in now before it’s too late. #CoachPrime ‘I ain’t hard to Find.’”
Several former five-star prospects have already reached out to express interest in Colorado.
