Saint Peters (Mo.) Nevada three-star interior offensive lineman Talan Chandler announced his commitment to Colorado on Feb. 2 and just over a month later he was on campus for a visit.

As the spring progresses on, Chandler is set to visit Boulder again on Wednesday for a highly-anticipated trip back to camp.

“I’ll get to sit in on team meetings, learn more about the program and see the spring game when I’m back on campus,” Chandler told On3. “I was there on spring camp and saw the campus, met the coaches and had some great conversations. This time it will be about the team, how the team is run and how I fit into the office. On this visit I want to watch how the coaches coach, how the players work and learn a lot more about the football side of things.”

Chandler was the third commitment for Deion Sanders‘ first full recruiting cycle at Colorado. The Buffaloes currently have five commitments and their class ranks as the No. 23 class in the country.

In the limited time that Sanders has been at Colorado, he’s made waves on the recruiting scene as he tries to build the Buffaloes back into a national power.

Colorado wrapped up the 2023 recruiting cycle with a top-40 class. That class featured a trio of four-star signees and a five-star cornerback Cormani McClain.

Sanders along with his coaching staff are building something that Chandler noted he was excited to be a part of.

“Coach Prime is a big part of what Colorado is doing. The coaching staff he is brought is important too. “Great people are in the program, coaches came from other top programs across the country and the school as a whole is changing. The philosophy is different.

“There is a big change happening at Colorado right now and everyone’s buying in. Coach Prime is changing things.
