Colorado announces sellout for Oregon State matchup on November 4th
What a difference a year makes for the Colorado Buffaloes. Last season, they were the laughing stock of college football, finishing with a 1-11 overall record. Fast forward to 2023, and the Buffaloes stunned the TCU Horned Frogs in their Week 1 matchup. Then, in Week 2, they throttled the Nebraska Cornhuskers to the tune of a 36-14 beatdown.
Colorado has a number of enticing upcoming matchups on the slate with USC and Oregon on Sept. 23 and Sept. 30th. They’ve also got a highly anticipated matchup with Oregon State (2-0) quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei and their impressive offensive line. That one is slated for Nov. 4th in Boulder, Colorado at Folsom Field.
On Thursday evening, Colorado announced a sellout for the Oregon State game, just yet another sign of the unparalleled excitement surrounding the program.

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders completely revamped the Buffaloes’ roster in the offseason via the transfer portal, orchestrating one of the most dramatic changes of a team in college football history.
In the first few games of the season, Colorado signal-caller Shedeur Sanders has earned first round draft pick praise from ESPN’s Mel Kiper. He also earned plenty of Heisman Trophy buzz from around the country. Through his first two games with the Buffaloes, Sanders has completed 69 of his 89 pass attempts, while passing for 903 yards and six touchdowns.

In Week 1, Colorado defeated TCU 45-42 in an instant classic. Then, the next week, they put a serious whooping on the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Up next for Colorado is their rival, Colorado State, and unfortunately for the Rams, head coach Jay Norvell decided to make this one “personal,” according to Deion Sanders. If the Rams did not already have the attention of Colorado, they certainly do now.
As far as Oregon State, quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei has looked marvelous behind one of the best offensive lines in the country in Corvallis. Against San Jose State in Week 1, he completed 20 of 25 passes for 239 yards, while tossing three touchdowns and no interceptions. He also tacked on two rushing touchdowns.
This weekend, the Beavers will take on the San Diego State Aztecs. That one is slated for Sept. 16. Kick is slated for 3:30 PM EST and the game will be nationally televised on FS1.
There’s no question that the Colorado vs. Oregon State matchup will be one of the most anticipated games of the year in the Pac-12, along with the Buffaloes’ matchups with Oregon and USC in the next few weeks. Pull up a seat.
