Colorado Football sells out season tickets for second year in a row
Despite some pretty disappointing years on the football field in 2022 and 2023, Colorado has sold out its season ticket allotment for the second consecutive year.
Deion Sanders certainly is putting butts in seats as the Colorado head coach, as he’s now helped sell out the Buffaloes’ season tickets for a second straight year, which is something the program has only done 10 times. Colordo beat writer Brian Howell reported the news of a season-ticket-sellout on Monday, writing this tweet:
“Colorado football announces that for the second year in a row, it has sold out of season tickets. It’s the 10th time in program history and only the 2nd time season tickets sold out before August (2023 and 2024). Single game tickets on sale tomorrow.”
Impressive showing from the Colorado faithful, who are excited to see what Deion Sanders has in store for year two.

One thing that head coach Deion Sanders will need to navigate is getting the Colorado roster to 85 scholarship players. Between incoming transfers and freshmen, teams often need to see players transfer to not end up above that number. Colorado will certainly have no issue having too many players at this rate with nearly half their roster having departed after last season.
This experiment of losing and adding players in mass amounts produced a roller coaster 2023 season with a rough ending, and Sanders and co. will be banking on much better results in 2024.
Former Miami safety Savion Riley became the latest Colorado addition after previously entering the NCAA transfer portal this spring. Riley actually played the 2023 season at Vanderbilt, but opted to enter the portal and wound up at Miami back during the December transfer window. After just one semester as a Hurricane, Riley decided to re-evaluate his options and has now decided to head west despite not playing a snap for the Hurricanes.
