New Colorado head coach Deion Sanders has extended an offer to Tulsa (Okla.) Booker T. Washington four-star athlete Micah Tease.

He has been committed to the Razorbacks since July 4.

Tease is the No. 181 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

The 2023 Arkansas recruiting class ranks 18th in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking. Tease is one of the group’s highest-rated recruits along with Frisco (Texas) Lone Star four-star cornerback Jaylon Braxton, Ashdown (Ark.) four-star tight end Shamar Easter and Bixby (Okla.) four-star tight end Shamar Easter.

Sanders has landed just one recruit so far for the Buffaloes — Columbus (Ohio) KIPP Columbus three-star offensive lineman Jordan Hall — but he is making major noise on the recruiting tral.

Tease currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $28k. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Micah Tease Scouting Summary

Two-way star at wide receiver and defensive back who likely projects on defensive long-term. Productive player for Tulsa powerhouse Booker T. Washington. Had 31 receptions for 618 yards and 9 touchdowns as a junior as well as 3 interceptions on defense. Constantly in-phase and is sticky in coverage. A willing tackler who is not afraid to come downhill. Smooth and twitchy with solid long speed. Ran a 11.05 second 100 meter time during his junior track season as well as a 23.07 time int he 200 meters as a sophomore. Ball skills are adequate as a wide receiver, but project better towards cornerback. Will only get better as he focuses on one side of the ball.
