Deion Sanders and Colorado continue to build momentum on the recruiting trail.

Statesboro (Ga.) On300 EDGE Amontrae Bradford has taken four official visits, hitting Georgia TechIndiana and Vanderbilt this summer and Colorado this fall.

Bradford told On3’s Chad Simmons last month that he was “getting close” to a decision, and as that decision looms, Colorado is trending to land him in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).

After the latest predictions from around the recruiting industry, The Buffaloes hold an 80.2 percent chance of landing Bradford.

The 6-foot-5, 230-pound Bradford is the No. 634 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranks as the No. 49 EDGE and No. 79 recruit in the state of Georgia.

On3, however, is much higher on Bradford than the other three major recruiting services. In the most recent On300 rankings, he was tabbed as the country’s No. 291 prospect, No. 27 EDGE and No. 34 player in the Peach State.

Bradford talks Colorado, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt

In the previous interview with Simmons, Bradford broke down what stands out about some of the schools he’s interested in:

On Colorado: “The Colorado official visit pushed them up my list. It was not what I expected. I am glad I went out there and took the visit. I talked to Coach Deion Sanders and it was different. You only see what the media shows or what you hear, but Coach Sanders is interested in his recruits. I spent time with the other coaches and I like them, how the fans cheer for the team and it is a loving culture out there. Going into the visit, my interest was questionable, but after the visit, they have a very good chance.”

On Georgia Tech: “I took an official visit to Georgia Tech and I had a good time. They have been talking to me a lot lately. I didn’t know if they gave up or what, but they have really been coming harder recently. I talk to Coach Marco Coleman and Georgia Tech is still one of the main schools I am looking at.”

On Texas A&M: “I visited Texas A&M for the first time in July for the pool party. It was cool. They have been consistent since that visit. Some schools slack off, but Texas A&M hasn’t done that. Coach E (Elijah Robinson) is the coach I talk to the most and he is a cool cool. On my visits, I talked to the players a lot too, and I liked what they said on my visit out there. Nobody knows more about what is going on than the players because they live it.”

On Vanderbilt: “Vanderbilt was my first Power 5 offer and my first SEC offer, so they will always have a spot in my heart. I have taken five visits to Nashville, so I know a lot about the schools and I am always talking with coach Clark Lea a lot. That is big when the head coach talks to me, so that means something too.”
