Deion Sanders' message to recruits after Nebraska win: 'Success ain't hard to find'
Deion Sanders sent another loud message to recruits after Colorado took down Nebraska 36-14 to improve to 2-0 on the season.
First, it was a road upset of TCU and then a home sellout win over an old Big 12 rival. In just two weeks, Sanders turned a doormat program around in what seems to be a blink of an eye.
For those recruits who want success, well, Sanders said it’s right in front of them.
“Success ain’t hard to find,” Sanders said postgame. “That’s what it says. The thing about it, you go to recruit to analyze everything because I analyze stuff when I recruit. They are sitting out there seeing and I understand every position is saying ‘I can do that. I can play for them, I can do that right now.’ The atmosphere on top of that, you don’t have to sell Boulder, Boulder sells itself.
“We’re not selling anything, we’re not promising anything, we’re just giving them the opportunity to earn a tremendous education and a tremendous opportunity to get to the next level which is the NFL, if they come play for us. But it’d be tough to turn us down if I was a recruit, especially if I was a parent.”
Deion Sanders, Colorado begin season 2-0
Sanders expected this a long time ago and now he and his team got to prove it again for the second straight week. The Buffaloes controlled the game throughout and pulled away in the final 30 minutes.

Sanders spoke with FOX’s Jenny Taft in the tunnel right after the game.
“I’m so proud of our team,” Sanders said on the broadcast. “We stunk it up in the first half but in the second half we came back. We had a great talk at halftime and we just came back and used our resilience.”
The defense made life difficult for Nebraska quarterback Jeff Sims. He turned the ball over three times.
“They played their butts off,” Sanders said. “We knew it was a couple personnel things that we needed to fix. We’re still gonna go take a look. Just giving up that big play at the end of the game, we hate stuff like that, coaches do. But overall I’m so proud of our kids.
“I’m so proud of the school, proud of the alumni and everyone I mean seeing the kids storm the field. I’ve never been a part of anything like that before. So I love it. 100%.”
