Deion Sanders parts way with most of previous Colorado coaching staff
Deion Sanders parted ways Tuesday with all of the coaches from the previous Colorado staff aside from running backs coach Darian Hagan, sources tell On3.
The news was first reported by Buffzone.
It’s unclear whether Hagan will be a member of the on-field staff or if he’s set to move into an off-field role. Hagan, one of the top players in Colorado history, has been part of the Buffaloes’ staff in different roles since 2005, including as running backs coach the last seven seasons.

As Colorado’s starting quarterback, he finished fifth in the Heisman Trophy voting in 1989 and then led the Buffaloes to their first national championship in 1990. He finished his Colorado career with a 28-5-2 record as the team’s starting QB.
Sanders has already made several hires for his coaching staff, including adding Kent State head coach Sean Lewis as his offensive coordinator on Monday.
