JUCO OT Issiah Walker commits to Colorado
JUCO offensive tackle Issiah Walker of Miami (FL) Butler C.C announced his commitment to Colorado Monday afternoon.
The 6-foot-5, 290 pounder chose the Buffaloes over Houston, Memphis, and others. He will have 2 years of eligibility remaining.
“For me, the biggest thing I look at in a school is the family atmosphere that’s being established and Colorado has it. When coach Prime first got there, that’s what he instilled there. I also feel as if I would grow there under the o line coach there which he actually coached my o line coach here at juco. They both are just alike in their same styles of coaching.”
His relationship with the coaching staff and their plan for him played a role in his decision as well.

“I’m primarily close with the o line coach,” Walker said. “They plan on using me as a tackle. The o line coach always talks about how well I move with my feet. Also, I fit their scheme perfectly as what he explained to me.”
He currently does not have an On3 NIL Valuation publicly listed. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
