Shilo Sanders: Colorado is out here to win
Deion Sanders has made it clear that he and losing are not too fond of one another. That attitude has come from his sons too as Colorado S Shilo Sanders also says he and the Buffaloes are strangers when it comes to losses.
Sanders had a lot to say after Colorado won 43-35 over Colorado State in double overtime last weekend. From here, he doesn’t expect him and his teammates to be fighting to close out a win after they finish correcting what they need to, especially since they have the approach that they do in Boulder.
“If we do what we need to do and listen to our coaches, we probably won’t have any more close games like this,” said Sanders. “We just have to fix our mistakes, correct them in practice, and just keep making plays.”
“It’s just football. And, at the end of the day, we’ve got ‘it’,” said Sanders. “If you don’t know what ‘it’ is then you don’t got it.”
To this point, Coach Prime and his family are absolutely right when it comes to the foreign nature of losing to them. At Jackson State, Sanders went 27-6 with only three losses coming in his last two years with the Tigers.
Now, at Colorado, Sanders has surprised many with a 3-0 record so far over TCU, Nebraska, and the Rams. That start has come with an average margin of victory of over double digits.

To be fair, the sledding is about to get a lot tougher with No. 10 Oregon and No. 5 USC up to bat next for the Buffaloes. If they find a way to keep their run going, though, it’ll only further underline the energy and storyline that the Sanders family is generating at Colorado.
“We out there to win,” Sanders said. “That’s just what we do.”
Sanders’ white Lamborghini reportedly ticketed on campus
Not even Deion Sanders is safe from the Colorado parking police. His Lamborghini was apparently ticketed this week, his son Deion Sanders Jr. posted on Instagram.
Sanders’ white Lamborghini was parked by a curb but police saw a violation and gave him a ticket. It’s unclear why he received the violation.
As for whether it’s ‘personal’ with the police or not, that’s yet to be seen.
Coach Prime and Colorado are off to a blazing start to the season as the story of college football. The Buffaloes bring a 3-0 record into Saturday’s huge showdown against Oregon. They’ll now hope to make a statement to start off Pac-12 play.
