Colorado Buffaloes star quarterback Shedeur Sanders has been expanding his social media reach with his new podcast, 2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders. In his second episode, the Buffaloes signal caller brought on two guests who are near and dear to his heart — brothers Shilo Sanders and Deion Sanders Jr.

Although the trio is quite familiar with one another, the podcast gave them the opportunity to ask one another some intriguing questions, allowing fans some insight into the family’s dynamic on and off the field. One question in particular that was directed towards Shilo Sanders by way of Deion Sanders Jr. was whether or not he questions some of the comments made by coach and father Deion Sanders Sr. To the surprise of his brothers, Shilo revealed that he does the opposite of that.

“We be telling him the opposite thing,” responded Shilo to Deion Jr.’s question. “You tell him ‘you tripping’ to ‘calm down.’ I’m like, honestly, you can talk about that. I will call him and be like, ‘I think you should talk about that.’ I try to be the guy that just says it. We talk to him about different things. Like an example, Bucky tells him to chill out a little bit sometimes; I’ll tell him, you might need to expand on that.”

Shilo Sanders’s response raises the eyebrows of both his brothers. So much so that Shedeur questioned if he was a troll, and Deion Jr. asked if he was the ‘negativity encourager.’

“I encourage it, for sure,” said Shilo Sanders, chuckling. “And then I’ll talk about it kind of, but I don’t care no more bro; it is what it is.”

Deion Sanders Jr., the oldest of the three, is some years removed from his collegiate football career. However, Shilo and Shedeur are entering their second season as members of the Colorado Buffaloes. Both are looking to help Colorado bounce back from its tailspin last season, finishing the year with a 4-8 mark. Both are expected to play significant roles in the team’s success this year.

Individuals are not always going to see eye to eye with their parents or coaches. However, for Shilo Sanders, that doesn’t appear to be the case for him. He would much rather have his head coach and father express his thoughts and opinions rather than hold them in. And that appears to be a healthy balance as brothers Shedeur and Deion Sanders Jr. try to be the voice of reason for their dad.
