TCU transfer linebacker Kylan Salter signs with Colorado
According to On3’s Pete Nakos, former TCU linebacker Kylan Salter has signed with Colorado. After spending just two seasons in Fort Worth, Salter decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal and find a new home. He will be staying inside the Big 12 but heading a little further West to play for head coach Deion Sanders.
Three years of eligibility will remain for Salter after taking a redshirt as a true freshman. The linebacker finally saw time on the field during the 2024 season, appearing in seven games. Most of those were as a reserve though, potentially seeking more playing time with Colorado.

Salter recorded two tackles, one in each of the final two games of the year. One against Cincinnati in the regular season finale and then another in TCU’s bowl game against Louisiana.
Hopefully, some more production is on the way in a new uniform.
Salter played high school football at Cedar Hill (TX), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 644 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Carter Miller played his high school football at Ravenwood in Tennessee. There, he was an unranked recruit in the Class of 2022 and initially went to play for James Madison where he spent two seasons before transferring to ULM.
In 2023 with the Warhawks, Carter Miller played in 12 games, primarily at the center position. Prior to that, he redshirted his true freshman season at James Madison before stepping into the starting role for eight out of 11 appearances in his redshirt freshman season with the Dukes.
On December 15th, Carter Miller made the decision to transfer to Colorado. At the time, he was supposed to be a key piece coming in to improve an offensive line that has struggled in recent seasons. Now, around three weeks later, he’s made the decision to move again and transfer to UCF, a Big 12 rival, instead.
