In his own words, what type of player is Creighton getting in McAndrew?

“I would describe myself as a winner. Elite shooter, high IQ and feel for the game, good positional rebounder. I also have a good handle on the ball.”

He has a message for the fanbase.

Jackson McAndrew Scouting Report

With Jackson McAndrew it all centers around the shooting, that is his super power. McAndrew stands every bit of 6-8/6-9 and he has long arms with a very projectable frame. He shot 40-plus percent from three on high volume Nike’s EYCL this summer. The shooting off movement was particularly interesting. He showed great footwork with natural balance. He is able to stay square and slide into space when receiving the pass or pulling up off the bounce. Also has some toughness, despite his skinny frame, getting on the boards. He is a solid team defender and can straight line drive close outs. He will need to continue adding weight, that will take a little time. Could tighten the handle some, continue learning his spots in the half court and getting to them. McAndrew had a very productive past 12 months and he continues to develop at a rapid trajectory. – On3’s Jamie Shaw

According to the On3 Industry Rankings, McAndrew is the No. 83 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle. He’s also the No. 13 power forward prospect and the No. 1 player in the state of Minnesota. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3’s evaluators are much higher than the industry on him, ranking him 48th overall nationally.
