Duke hilariously trolls NC State fans with fake 'butt kicking' degree following blowout win
There are few things sweeter in life than a win over your in-state rival in college sports. And the Duke Blue Devils got to experience the sweet taste of victory on Saturday, after they handled NC State 29-19. Not only that, they did it in the Wolfpack’s home stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina. So, after the big win, Duke decided to troll NC State fans with a special fake ‘butt kicking’ degree.
Duke quarterback Maalik Murphy connected with Jordan Moore on a beautifully lofted 45-yard touchdown pass. It was his best catch of the season and one of the best catches of the weekend. Murphy completed 22 of his 31 passes for 245 yards, while tossing in two touchdowns and no interceptions. Moore finished the game hauling in three catches for 76 receiving yards and a touchdown. Blue Devils receiver Que’Sean Brown also hauled in five catches for 88 receiving yards.
NC State wide receiver Wesley Grimes had a solid showing, hauling in three catches for 44 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was an interesting prospect to study in the recruiting process coming out of high school, with the On3 recruiting experts being much higher on him than other companies. Wolfpack tight end Justin Joly hauled in four catches for 52 receiving yards.
