Duke lands 2023 3-star quarterback Grayson Loftis

Greer (S.C.) Gaffney three-star quarterback Grayson Loftis committed Monday to Duke.
He announced the news on social media.
He is rated as a three-star recruit by On3 with a grade of 87.
Loftis is the first recruit in the 2023 cycle for the Blue Devils.
Bronx (N.Y.) Cardinal Hayes quarterback Henry Belin is the top recruit in the 2022 recruiting class.

On3 rates Belin much higher as the No. 197 overall player and No. 11 quarterback in the 2022 On300 ranking.
“The Bronx (N.Y.) Cardinal Hayes signal-caller can absolutely rip the football. We got to see this during the truncated spring season in New York, where Belin led his team to an undefeated record. The Duke pledge has a quick motion and is able to drive the football vertically with little effort. He also moves fairly well and shows some ability as a playmaker,” On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power wrote before the fall season.
