Paul committed to Vanderbilt in early July, but backed off that pledge Oct. 2. He was one of four Commodores’ commits to back off their pledge in October and early November, joining three-star athlete BJ Diakite, cornerback Caleb Coley, and athlete Miguel Mitchell.

Kenzy Paul is Duke’s 18th commitment in the 2022 class, giving the Blue Devils the No. 59 class in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.
