Inside Carter’s recruiting process
In May, Carter told On3’s Chad Simmons that Alabama, LSU and USC are his favorites. He has clear guidelines in what he wants in a school.
“I am looking for a school and a coaching staff that can make me better,” Carter said. “The education is important, I would like to be part of a winning program, and I want to play for coaches that can get me right for the next level. Those are things I am looking for in a school.”

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, USC has a commanding lead for Carter’s commitment at 63.7%. He recently took an unofficial visit to the Trojans on July 30.
RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
Carter currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $59K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
