5-star WR Caleb Cunningham on Florida official visit
The No. 2 wide receiver in the 2025 class made his way to Gainesville this weekend for an official visit.
Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County five-star receiver Caleb Cunningham visited Florida beginning Friday — his second official visit out of four scheduled trips. Cunningham visited Auburn last weekend and has officials set for Tennessee (June 14) and Alabama (June 21).
Cunningham has been to Gainesville multiple times, including earlier this spring.
He told On3 that the Gators are “right there” with Auburn, which he visited last weekend. After that trip to the Plains, he said that the Tigers stood “No. 1” in his recruitment.
Heading into this weekend’s visit, Cunningham stressed that Florida was absolutely still in this race.

“They keep recruiting me and never give up. I like that,” he told On3. “People may think they don’t have a chance but they’re going to keep working hard to get me. It’s a great place, a great environment with great coaches. Coach (Billy) Gonzales and Coach (David) Doecker stay in touch with me every day.”
Caleb Cunningham Recruit Profile
Cunningham is the nation’s No. 15 overall prospect, No. 2 wide receiver and top recruit from Mississippi in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
On3’s Scouting and Rankings team writes this about him as a prospect.
“Bouncy outside receiver with the upside to become a skilled ball-winner. Listed at an unverified 6-foot-3, 185 pounds. Moves well at that size. Shows the ability to come down with catches in contested situations. Naturally coordinated and can locate the football at its highest point. Also shows some ability to make defenders miss after the catch. Doubles as a fantastic high school basketball player who lives above the rim, throwing down dunks with regularity.
“Also posted strong marks in the high jump (6-0 feet) and triple jump (43-4.25 feet) as a freshman. Has considerable natural ability but will need to hone his technical skill at the position over the final few years of high school football. Could stand to be more productive. Plays at a smaller high school and doesn’t face top competition.”
