Cormani McClain visiting Florida for Thursday's spring game
Lakeland (Fla.) Lake Gibson Five-Star Plus+ cornerback Cormani McClain will be visiting Florida on Thursday for the school’s spring game.
McClain is one the Gators top targets as he is the No. 1 recruit from the state. The On3 Consensus — a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies — has McClain as the No. 3 overall prospect in the nation.
He is also one of three Five-Star Plus+ prospects in the 2023 cycle along with New Orleans Isidore Newman quarterback Arch Manning and Los Alamitos (Calif.) High quarterback Malachi Nelson.
Cormani McClain visited the campus last month and his mother, Kaishay McClain, told Gators Online that a few different things stood out to her while on the visit.

“A lot of things stood out to me about UF; I’m not going to lie: The coaches, they are building a new facility; that stood out,” Kaishay McClain said. “They are also family oriented. I see the fan base is on explosive (laughter). I was looking at the different comments from the different visits that I did, and yeah, their fan base is amazing. I see that and I’m like, ‘Wow.’”
Cormani McClain currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $61k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
