Erin Andrews posts thrilling reaction to Florida winning national championship

NFL on FOX sideline reporter Erin Andrews celebrated the Florida Gators winning the national title big time. An alum of the school, it was all about the Gators Monday night for the veteran sports reporter.
Andrews graduated from Florida in the spring of 2000 and was a member of the Gators Dazzlers dance team. In 2007, she was honored with the University of Florida’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award.
Safe to say, she was excited. While known for primarily football and her knowledge of the NFL and its athletes, Andrews certainly likes to kick back and just be a fan.
“IF YOU AIN’T A GATOR, YOU MUST BE GATOR BAIT!!!!!!!!,” Andrews wrote on Twitter. “Congrats (Gators Men’s Basketball).”
It was quite the ride, considering Florida’s comeback against Houston, winning 65-63. So they were in fact, “Gator Bait.”
The final Houston possession was evidence of Florida’s suffocating defense. One can understand why Andrews was so excited and had to use all caps!
You know this is a big deal because Andrews was stoic the entire game and hadn’t fired off a tweet since Alex Ovechkin scored his record-breaking goal, passing Wayne Gretzky. But like any other fan of Florida, it was time to let loose.

Erin Andrews celebrates Florida Gators national title
Considering where the program was last year, losing in the first round, this was quite the year for Florida. Alumni and fans like Andrews had big reason to celebrate.
“It’s a heck of an accomplishment,” Florida head coach Todd Golden said postgame. “I’m super proud of everybody in my program, top to bottom. My staff, been together for three years, worked incredibly hard to help get our players to this point. Our players, they’ve been the difference all the way along. Been incredibly consistent all year. Have worked with a great work ethic.
“Obviously we have an incredibly talented group, one of the most talented groups individually in America. I do think what separates us and has separated us all season long is our team talent, how our guys have played together and for each other all year. Because of that, we can call each other national champions for the rest of our lives.”
Florida finished the season 36-4 beating Houston for the national title. Widely considered one of the best teams all season long, the Gators proved it in San Antonio.
