The Sweet 16 is about to get underway on Thursday night. And ESPN analyst Seth Greenberg feels good about the team he’s most confident in winning it all. He has Florida cutting down the nets. Simply put, he believes the Gators are just too good to be stopped.

“I have the most confidence in the Gators,” Greenberg said on Get Up on Thursday morning. “After watching the SEC Tournament, they were absolutely incredible. The pace they play with, the force they play with, the confidence they play with, the freedom they play with, their ability to defend and protect the rim, their ability to get to the offensive glass, the ability to have different guys step up.”

There are a lot of things Florida does well going into the Sweet 16, to be sure. And the Gators legitimately go about nine players deep in the rotation, so players have stayed fresh despite a long postseason tournament run.

That run included the team’s first SEC Tournament title since 2014, putting the Gators back on the map. Now they’re looking to firmly re-establish that presence nationally. It’ll take some doing, as any team can win once you’re in the Sweet 16.

“In the NCAA Tournament you’re going to have one of those games they had against a very good UConn team and at the end of the game they made plays, whether it was Alijah Martin getting to the rim, whether it was Walter Clayton knocking down those two big threes,” Greenberg said. “This Florida team is the deepest and most complete team in college basketball.”

Will that be enough to win it all? Time will tell. Florida is set to take on four-seed Maryland in the Sweet 16 at 7:39 p.m. ET on Thursday. A broadcast will be available on TBS and TruTV.
