Florida 3-star WR commit Tyree Patterson opting out of senior season

Eustis (Fla.) three-star wide receiver and Florida commit Tyree Patterson announced Friday night that he is opting out of his senior season. He shared the news over social media

Patterson announced his pledge to the Gators on April 17. The 6-foot-2, 180 pound prospect is one of five wide receivers in Florida’s 2023 recruiting class.

Patterson is the No. 798 overall prospect and No. 112 wide receiver in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 122 player in Florida.

The Sunshine State native has already taken three unofficial visits to Florida. His most recent trip to Gainesville was on July 30 for the Gators’ Friday Night Lights event.

Patterson has an On3 NIL Valuation of $13.5K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
