Florida cornerback Ja’Keem Jackson plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett. He started the first two games this season before suffering an injury.

Over the course of his two seasons with Florida, Jackson had 11 total tackles and four pass deflections. He played in 11 games as a freshman.

As a member of the Class of 2023, Jackson was a four-star recruit out of Kissimmee (Fla.) Osceola, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 13 overall prospect in the state, the No. 6 cornerback in the class and the No. 55 overall prospect in the class.

“Yeah. I mean, I think midseason, that is when it all kind of came together,” Napier said after Florida beat Florida State. “Think the players did a good job of kind of putting their blinders on in the first month, and didn’t allow excuses, didn’t allow blame, you know, and really just went back to work, you know. Go back to that first open date, and I think that Tennessee game was pivotal, you know, the way they responded to that.
