Florida cornerback Jalen Kimber has re-entered the transfer portal after two seasons in Gainesville.

Kimber has played four collegiate seasons in the Southeastern Conference with his first two at Georgia and the last two at Florida. He appeared in just four games with the Bulldogs since a shoulder injury cut his second campaign short. Since then, he has appeared in 25 games with the Gators including 11 starts, all of which came this season.

In that time, Kimber has 39 tackles, six pass deflections, and one interception that went for a touchdown. Most of that came during his time in The Swamp, specifically this fall.

Kimber played high school football at Mansfield Timberview (TX) where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 116 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 10 CB in the class and the No. 15 player out of Texas.
