Florida hosts Samford this weekend before finishing out the regular season with Missouri and Florida State, and the Gators will don their traditional uniforms for the matchup.

The uniforms, which the Gators revealed Thursday night, are their traditional garb: blue jerseys with white block numbers outlined in bright orange.

Saturday’s game will also be Florida’s annual Salute to Service game in honor of Veteran’s Day, which was Thursday. There will be a flyover, and three members of Florida Navy, Army and Air Force ROTC programs will be honored and will lead the crowd in a cheer before the game.

They will continue to honor servicemen and women throughout the game, and the band will perform a special halftime show.

Gators trying to avoid falling to 4-6

It is unclear who will start at quarterback this weekend against Samford, but it is clear Florida needs a win. The Gators were blown out by South Carolina last weekend, leading to the firing of two coaches.

Quarterback Anthony Richardson missed last weekend’s game after a freak dancing accident, and he suffered a concussion against Georgia the previous week in his first career start.

This weekend, Florida is looking to avoid their fourth straight loss; the Gators have not won since Oct. 9. They must win two of their three final games to become bowl eligible just one year removed from challenging Alabama for the SEC title.

The Bulldogs are 4-5 on the season, and they have played in six one-possession games. The game kicks off at noon ET on ESPN+ and SEC Network +, and Florida is a 31.5-point favorite.
