Florida has a new training facility, covering 142,000 feet and costing $85 million. The football team will now have a state-of-the-art facility at their disposal, as the Billy Napier era gets started in the right way. The Gators posted a video doing a tour, showing off their amazing new headquarters.

Quarterback Anthony Richardson took to Twitter to react to the new training center, saying it’s a “blessing” for everyone involved with the program. He also gave a shoutout to everyone involved with getting it built, both old and new.

“More than a blessing to be able to get into this new facility, shoutout to everyone who made this possible (from old to new).. thanks to everyone! Go Gators!”

Richardson will be entering his third season in the program, debuting under old head coach Dan Mullen. He is expected to be the starter and try to help the program compete in the SEC East. Having a new facility will only help the Gators on the field.

Anthony Richardson, Billy Napier react to facility

Richardson was not the only Gator to react to the new facility, with head coach Billy Napier also commenting. He mentioned how important it could be when it comes to recruiting but also for players currently on campus. Of course, they will be the ones using the facility on a daily basis.

“It screams commitment,” said head coach Billy Napier. “A lot of time, energy and certainly investment from a lot of our supporters have made it to really improve our facility. Everyone wants to talk about recruiting when it comes to the facility but I think it’s more important to our player experience.”
